Unionists MLA's must quit if the price of ministerial office is to facilitate the Protocol.

Finally, the DUP must make a decision. Will the DUP Ministers back down and allow the Protocol to proceed? If they do, they will refute all they have claimed about North-South relations being unable to resume normality as long as East-West relations are ruined. Are they going to resign instead? Untimely that is the choice.

By resigning as a minister, you release yourself from any need to maintain North/South relations while destroying East/West links. The Union Dismantling Protocol divides the United Kingdom and treats it as a third country. If you are a Unionist and can only be a Minister if you are a part of that trashing, the only honourable option of action is to quit.
